French chef and television personality Cyril Lignac has long been captivated by the rich and diverse flavors of Moroccan cuisine. His passion for this North African culinary tradition has not only influenced his cooking but also inspired him to explore Morocco’s gastronomic landscape firsthand.

A Culinary Journey Through Morocco

In 2012, Cyril Lignac embarked on a remarkable journey across Morocco for his television program “Le Chef au Maroc.” This adventure took him from the bustling markets of Marrakech to the serene landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains.

One of the most memorable moments was his three-hour trek to reach the Aït Atta tribe, where he immersed himself in their traditional cooking methods. Reflecting on this experience, Cyril Lignac shared: “We had to walk three hours to get there. These are unforgettable moments that I never thought I would experience.”
